Outdoor Education

At West Moreton Anglican College, we do not restrict education to the narrow confines of the classroom.

All students - and staff - from Prep to Year 12 are involved in a sequential program designed to educate and develop skills through a range of outdoor experiences.

From a seemingly inconsequential start that involves Preppies making sandwiches to Senior School students catering on a week-long canoeing trip, our students gain important and increasingly more complex skills and knowledge through such activities.  This "know-how" will bring a lifetime of pleasure and perhaps even save a life, possibly their own.

During outdoor education activity, students are instructed by highly skilled professionals from specialist organisations.  WestMAC staff members participate in the same activities as students - encouraging students to fulfill their potential and celebrating their successes with them.

Information about this year's Outdoor Education Program is available by accessing the links on this page.  The Year 12 program will be available on this page shortly.
