The P & F Association Auxiliary has as its main aim to augment the general operation of the P & F Association as a support agency of West Moreton Anglican College. The Auxiliary operates as a sub-committee of the P & F Assocation.
The Auxiliary is a valuable group of College supporters comprising parents and friends and other members of the West Moreton Anglican College community. The Auxiliary members conduct activities that underpin the educational program of the College through friendraising, fundraising, classroom support and the performance of sundry tasks which assist the College to achieve its objectives.
The group meets every second Monday during term-time in an informal setting to determine the activities to be undertaken by the group.
The objectives of the Auxiliary are as follows:
- To raise funds for the support of the educational program of WestMAC.
- To provide classroom support through activities such as assistance with reading and maths.
- To foster the social aspects of the College life for parents and friends particularly through organising events on a daytime basis, for example, through welcome morning teas for new members of the College community.
- To provide support for special events such as, but not limited to, the opening of stages of development, Grandies Days, Open House, and sporting carnivals.
- To provide support and resources for major events in the educational life of the College.
- To complete other appropriate tasks as requested by the College Council, the Principal and the P & F Association within the limits of resources available.
