Middle Schooling is a relatively new concept in Australian education which has arisen in response to decades of research into adolescent development in Australia and overseas.
This research has identified that young people aged 10 to 15 years experience great physical, emotional and intellectual changes which result in a series of paradoxes and pressures that can impact quite significantly on their future lives.
At West Moreton Anglican College we recognised the importance of responding to these findings and set out to create a Middle School - located in a million dollar purpose built facility - that allows students to meet these challenges.
Our team of dedicated teachers have an excellent understanding of what students in this age group are experiencing and have a compassionate approach to guiding and supporting them.
Our motto is PREP - Punctuality, Respect, Effort, and Preparedness - and is reflected in everything we do in the Middle School.
