Anglican Schooling

A message from The Most Reverend Dr Phillip Aspinall

Anglican schools across Queensland each have a unique and rich heritage of quality education.  Some of the schools have been established for 100 years while others are relatively new having opened as recently as 2003.

While we are committed to the dignity of tradition, our schools are lively and dynamic places of learning for both children and staff.  We strive to develop the intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual dimensions of young people and children.

Effective learning is best achieved in a safe, supportive and ethical environment.  I am unswerving in my commitment to provide our students with such an environment.  Any behaviour that jeopardises the safe environment has no place in Anglican schools and is contrary to the law and the teachings of the Gospel message and will not be tolerated.

Anglican Schools recognise the importance of the family and nurture partnerships between the school, the family and the Church.  We provide engaging opportunities for students, their families and staff to observe, listen and participate in activities that explore the Christian faith - and challenge them to follow in the way of Christ - the way that leads to life in all its fullness.

Anglican Schools, old and new, are exciting learning and living communities.
