Our College Community was saddened to hear about the serious injuries suffered recently by Year 10 Student, Tori Field. While he is making positive progress, Tori remains in hospital and will require on-going surgery and medical assistance. As a gesture of support to Tori and his family, the College is planning a number of fund-raising events, the first of which will be a Casual Clothes Day scheduled for next Monday, September 13.
On September 13, all WestAMAC students are invited to attend school in Casual Clothes (usual casual clothes regulations apply) and to make a donation to our Tori Field Appeal. This may be a gold coin donation as is our tradition or families may like to contribute in some other way. We are trying to raise money for Tori's medical expenses so please give as generously as you can.
In addition, our Year 10 students will be hosting a sausage sizzle on September 13 with all proceeds going to the Tori Field appeal. |

Owned and operated by the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane, West Moreton Anglican College opened its doors on 31 January 1994 with an initial intake of 225 children.
Although founded only recently, our College has a long history that can be traced back to 1855, when St Paul's Day School opened its doors in Brisbane Street, Ipswich.
The growth of the College from a modest beginning has been nothing short of spectacular, leading to the creation of three schools on the one campus: Junior School (Preparatory to Year 6), Middle School (Years 7-9), and Senior School (Years 10-12). The College campus is also home to the West Moreton Anglican Community Kindergarten.
Situated on a beautiful, semi-rural block of 38 hectares, the College has a picturesque setting at the heart of which lies the Chapel of the Good Shepherd and a magnificent lake.
