WestMAC values each and every student. Pastoral care is not just a “catch phrase”.

It is something which we embrace in integrating the care we express for students in all areas of endeavour, both within and outside the classroom.

A proactive “respect and responsibility” program underpins our approach to behavioural management and personal interaction.

Heads of School, House Coordinators and tutors are supported by a fulltime Chaplain and Health Centre in catering for students physical and emotional needs.

“It takes a village to raise a child” is an old adage and one which assists to understand the way in which all contribute to develop and nurture students as they progress through the three subschools.

After all a student really won’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.
