On Saturday 22 August WestMAC welcomed back the Class of 2006 for their 10 year reunion at the Pumpyard Bar and Brewery.

Hosted by current College Chairman, Dr Ian Lupton, and Principal, Mr Geoff McLay, past alumni and their partners used the opportunity to catch-up on each other’s lives since leaving WestMAC.

In his welcome speech, Mr McLay reminded those present to retain and value their schooling links, to share memories and maintain a strong connection to WestMAC.

A rollcall was called by Ms Sue Stewart, Director of Curriculum, where the students were each presented with a small gift.

A poignant tribute was also made to Aaron Smith, who tragically passed away during Year 12, when his mother Linda Game represented Aaron in the rollcall, accompanied by loud applause.

Information about the Class of 2007 Reunion will be posted on our website and Alumni Facebook page early in 2017.
