The WestMAC community spirit was alive at the College on Tuesday 16 August with hundreds of staff, students and parents relishing the 95five Family Radio live broadcast and Channel 7 helicopter visit.

There were a number of fun-filled activities for the students, including a barbecue breakfast which was provided by College partner, Llewellyn Motors.

Additional highlights of the morning included our Chorale student performance of Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, and a special visit from Channel 7’s Tony Auden who talked with students from Years 3 to 6 about presenting the weather on television.

A special thank you the Years 5 to 8 teachers and students who assembled on the Main Oval to configure the word WestMAC for the helicopter fly-over. Everyone demonstrated WestMAC pride and it looks amazing!

WestMAC also extends their appreciation to 95five Family Radio and Llewellyn Motors.
