The Value in Studying Health & Physical Education
In our rapidly changing society, there is increasing community awareness of the importance of health lifestyles and a growing recognition of the need for people to be active.
Individuals lead a healthy lifestyle when they live in a way which allows them the greatest hance of achieving and maintaining emotional, mental, physical, social and spiritual well being.
The Health and Physical Education program offered for Years 7 - 10 reflects this need by involving students in a wide range of physical activities, developing students’ health knowledge and skills and by encouraging them to be informed members of society capable of managing the interactions amongst themselves and others.
