Dear prospective families,

You are warmly invited to attend West Moreton Anglican College’s Open Day on Saturday, 13 March from 11am - 3pm.

We would be delighted to share with you our first-class facilities, which provide for an extensive range of curriculum offerings. Please explore our state-of-the-art Trade Skills Centre, our purpose-built Senior School precinct, as well as our renowned Middle School and Junior School precincts. A community C&K Kindergarten is also located on the grounds.

On Open Day, our current students will expertly guide you on walking tours around our beautiful campus. Our students relish the myriad of opportunities WestMAC offers, and they love the freedom and space of our unique 38-hectare semi-rural location.

You will have the opportunity to speak to our committed and skilled teachers and visit specialist learning areas such as art, dance and music, design technology, agricultural science, and robotics. We also invite you to explore our sporting facilities, including several ovals, courts, and a heated swimming pool.

But the best part of the day will be the opportunity to speak with our welcoming students, who will share their experiences of College life.

Our extensive range of curriculum offerings, vocational pathways, and extra-curricular activities includes an extensive outdoor education program, Airforce Cadets and Cattle Show team, which will be on show throughout the day.

Our diverse opportunities, combined with a vibrant and supportive College community, enable students to pursue their individual passions and interests, build a sense of self-worth and purpose, and develop leadership skills. This is part of the College’s mission: to develop well-rounded young people from Prep to Year 12.

WestMAC is located less than 10 minutes from Ipswich’s CBD and 30 minutes from Kenmore. The College also has an extensive bus network that services Brisbane’s western suburbs.

We look forward to welcoming you on Open Day.

Warmly,

Geoff McLay,
Principal, West Moreton Anglican College
