Casual Relief Teacher (Junior School)

We are seeking to expand our pool of Casual Junior School Relief Teachers to provide support during periods of increased College activity and staff absences.

We are looking for Primary Teachers who are registered to teach in Queensland. All levels of experience will be considered.

This may suit individuals who are keen to keep themselves busy from time to time but are not looking for a regular pattern of work (as a casual arrangement, there is no firm advance commitment to ongoing work).

The successful candidates will:

  • Demonstrate excellence in their area of teaching and education.
  • Strong knowledge in the areas of pedagogy, curriculum, evaluation and using ICT.
  • Demonstrate high-level written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to work constructively with students, parents, teachers, and staff.
  • Demonstrate a capacity to develop a climate of trust with colleagues, students, and parents in a Christian school setting in the Anglican tradition.
  • Eligible to work in Australia, Qualified Teacher and currently registered with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
  • Solid understanding and appreciation for student protection requirements and processes.
