Road Closure Advice

The road leading from Central Administration to the Larsens Road exit (refer to below map) will be closed to all traffic from 9.30am to 2.00pm on Tuesday 3 March.

‘Road Closure’ notices will be in place. Please obey all directions from the Traffic Officer in attendance.

To leave the College grounds during this time, please use the Keswick Road exits.

Mothering Sunday High Tea

Trade Skills Centre Construction - Updated Notice

** All staff, students and visitors are advised, for their own safety, to please use the temporary fenced off walkways provided instead of walking on the road **

Construction of the new Trades Skills Centre has commenced, to be located in the existing car park (as indicated on the map below).

Changes to car parking arrangements are required to facilitate construction, these changes include;

  • A new temporary car park located on the north side of the tennis courts, and;
  • A new temporary walkway for access to the tennis courts, and;
  • A new temporary walkway for access to L Block.

It is envisaged these temporary arrangements will remain in place until Mid-June 2015.

Open Day 2015

The annual WestMAC Open Day 2015 will be held on Saturday 23 May from 10.00am to 3.00pm.

Homestay Families Wanted for 2015

We are seeking families to host short term Chinese and Japanese students for two to three weeks in February and March 2015.

As well as gaining satisfaction from hosting a young person from another culture, families will receive $40 per night per student to assist with associated costs.

Families are asked to provide all meals and snacks, laundry and transfer to and from College.  Blue cards will be arranged for suitable families.

Who are we?


Owned and operated by the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane, West Moreton Anglican College opened its doors on 31 January 1994 with an initial intake of 225 children.

Although founded only recently, our College has a long history that can be traced back to 1855, when St Paul's Day School opened its doors in Brisbane Street, Ipswich.
