Warrego Highway and Brisbane Valley Intersection Upgrade - Project Update

The Warrego Highway and Brisbane Valley Highway Intersection Upgrade – is drawing to an end. The project  has seen some great success during the month of October, with the opening of the new Bayley Road signalised intersection and the increasing of the speed zones along the East and West bound carriageways of the Warrego Highway to the final posted speed limits.

During November 2014, the project will be finalising the construction works along the eastbound off-ramp and on-ramp, the Service Road and along the median island of the Brisbane Valley Highway. These works are expected to be carried out during the day time and during the works, minor  disruptions and some lane closures can be expected. Traffic control will be in place to ensure the safety of pedestrians, workers and motorists.

Changes to Junior School Access

Since the June/July holidays, construction works to extend the Year 1 classrooms have been in full swing. These have impacted pedestrian access to the Junior School over the course of Terms 3 and 4.
