Concerns, Complaints and Feedback

Emergency Situations

If a child or anyone else is in immediate danger, please call 000 immediately.

Child Safety Concerns

The safety and wellbeing of children and young people is our highest priority.

If you are concerned about the safety of a child or young person connected to the College, please contact a Child Safe Advocate. This may relate to something you have seen, heard or been told about.

You do not need to be certain that something has occurred, and you do not need proof. If something does not feel right, we encourage you to speak up so we can look into it.

Concerns About the Behaviour of a Staff Member, Volunteer or Contractor

If you are concerned about the behaviour of a staff member, volunteer or contractor, please contact the Principal using the email address below.

This includes concerns about how a staff member, volunteer or contractor has behaved towards a child or young person, whether or not that child attends the College. You do not need to know whether the behaviour meets a particular legal definition or reporting threshold. If you are concerned, we encourage you to let us know.

Email: principal.disclosure@wmac.com.au

If your concern relates to the Principal, please contact the Anglican Schools Commission so the matter can be reviewed independently.

Complaints, Feedback and General Enquiries

We welcome feedback and take all concerns and complaints seriously.

If you would like to raise a concern about something that has happened, a decision that has been made, or the way a matter has been handled, please contact us and we will guide you through the next steps.

Before submitting a complaint, please note that concerns relating to child safety, or the behaviour of a staff member, volunteer or contractor towards a child, should be reported through the Child Safety or Staff Conduct pathways outlined above.

For complaints, feedback, general enquiries, or if you are unsure who to contact, please email info@wmac.com.au and your enquiry will be directed to the appropriate person.
