Scholarships

West Moreton Anglican College offers a range of academic and talent-based scholarships for new and continuing students that demonstrate excellence in their standard of achievement and a willingness to embrace College life. The results of the Scholarship Edutest examination, current school results/practical performance (if relevant) and an interview are considered in awarding a scholarship.

    Scholarships are available in the following areas: Academic and Special Talent:

    • Agriculture
    • Art
    • Dance
    • Drama
    • Equestrian
    • Language (Japanese or Chinese)
    • Music (Choral or Instrumental)
    • Sports (All-rounder or Elite)

    How to apply

    Step 1: Click here to register and pay via the Edutest website for the Scholarship exam for students entering Years 5 to 12 in 2018. The Scholarship Edutest examination will be held on Saturday 4 March 2017 at the College. Entry for 2018 Scholarships will close on Friday 17 February 2017.

    Step 2: Download the Scholarship Information Booklet (PDF 822k).

    Step 3: Download and complete the Scholarship Application Form (PDF 221k).

    Step 4: Return the completed Scholarship Application Form and copies of the following documentation to the College:

    • child's full birth certificate
    • last two school reports and NAPLAN results
    • any other supporting documentation for the application.

    Completed applications, together with documentation, should be forwarded to the Enrolments Office, West Moreton Anglican College, Locked Bag 8004, Ipswich QLD 4305.
