Our College Marketing team is looking for a permanent, full-time Internal Communications Advisor who has a passion for managing internal communications channels, developing content and providing communications support and solutions for our College.

This is a permanent, full-time position, commencing end of 2025 or the start of 2026.

This position will:

  • Implement marketing and communication plans and offer input into future strategies to promote College branding and awareness.
  • Maintain visual portfolio, including photography and videography and ensure this is relevant and appropriate to the College's brand and ideals.
  • Research, create, design and publish regular news items on the College website and social media accounts that promote key elements of the WestMAC brand and story. 
  • Develop marketing collateral and messaging for internal College events, including but not limited to Presentation Evenings, Scholars’ Assembly, ANZAC, and Valedictory services.
  • Manage delivery of official College programs including Our Book and the Annual Report, including budget, timeline, and stakeholder communications.
  • Establish and plan public relations programs designed to promote and maintain a favourable public image for the College.
  • Collaboratively support the day-to-day activities undertaken by the Marketing Specialist to ensure the delivery of key communication goals and broader strategic objectives.
  • Liaise with agencies and other marketing and business consultants where required with respect to internal programs and activities, new initiatives, and ensuring that each subcontracted program is strategic and cost effective whilst achieving desired goals and outcomes.
  • Support special event days and other school functions as required.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary degree in Public Relations, Marketing or Communications.
  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to communications, marketing, business development and/or public relations. A background in schools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and to work as a team member or autonomously as needed.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing demands to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Well-developed expertise in the use of social media technology and using applications such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and other social networking sites.
  • Experience in digital media platforms (eg. eDM, Facebook Business Manager & Google Ads).
  • A clear commitment to the objectives and ethos of West Moreton Anglican College.
  • Solid understanding and appreciation for student protection requirements and processes.
