We are seeking a passionate International Students' Program (ISP) Manager who will provide management oversight and operational coordination of all aspects of the International Program including recruitment, curriculum, pastoral care, administration, monitoring, compliance and reporting.
Reporting to the Deputy Principal, this position will be responsible for leading the International Program, managing ISP staff, overseeing the recruitment of students into the various programs and the ongoing management and welfare of students whilst studying at the College.
This is a
full-time, permanent position, commencing
January, 2026.Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an extensive and productive network of local providers, agents and sister-school partnerships to source and support students in the various programs - long term study, short term study and study tours.
- Attend fairs, expos, conventions and other events both within Australia and overseas to recruit students.
- Conduct interviews with prospective students and their families and agents to carry out all necessary enrolment activities.
- Meet and report to overseas parents regarding student progress and monitor student attendance and academic progress.
- Ensure that students meet entry requirements for all registered courses.
- Develop and maintain links with schools in target markets.
- Develop new programs for international students, manage study tours and short-term study programs.
- As authorized representative of the Principal Executive Officer for all international students (under 18), provide oversight for the monitoring and reviewing of all aspects of student welfare and accommodation and the development and implementation of policies and procedures for effective management of homestay and student accommodation.
- Manage the ISP budget in conjunction with the Director of Business Services – staffing, teaching, homestay, marketing and recruiting, advertising, registration with central bodies etc.
- Develop new programs for international students.
- Manage study tour and short-term study programs.
- Ensure students over 18 are monitored for welfare and accommodation arrangements, duty of care responsibilities and conditions of enrolment.
- Ensure compliance with various government and non-government accrediting bodies at both State and Federal level – ESOS, CRICOS, NSSAB.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures comply with the requirements of the ESOS Act 2000 and the ESOS Regulations 2019 (as amended).
- Manage all International Program staff – academic and administration.
- In collaboration with the College Marketing team, develop and produce a range of promotional materials for all ISP programs.
- In association with the Director of Curriculum, assess student needs, ensure appropriate placement and support is provided to ensure a productive educational experience for all international students.
- Provide oversight of all aspects of the Homestay Program to ensure the delivery of a high-quality program with a high level of pastoral care.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Appropriate tertiary degree(s) in one or more relevant disciplines.
- Training as a Student Protection Officer (SPO) or equivalent.
- Possession of a higher degree (Masters or Doctorate) in Counselling, Pastoral Care or related discipline would be viewed favourably.
- Membership of relevant professional organisations.
- A clearly articulated philosophy that is synergistic and harmonious with the Anglican ethos.
- Capacity to lead others in the process of change and positively promote the profile of the College.
- Recognition and understanding of student protection requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to manage all aspects of a program in a complex environment whilst improving educational outcomes for all students in the international student programs.
- A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the National Code – ESOS 2018.
- Demonstrated ability to engage parents, agents, students, government agencies and the broader community in such a way that enhances the international students' program and the College’s reputation.
- Capacity to work with the College community to promote the interests of the international student programs by inspiring, motivating and supporting staff through the building of synergistic and effective teams.
- Capacity to generate a compellingly optimistic narrative around all aspects of the international student programs, including their contribution to the developing global awareness and language development in our community.
- Strong written communication skills, along with the ability to present formally and informally to a variety of audiences in a range of settings, particularly high-stakes marketing functions and events, ceremonies and assemblies.
- Demonstrated capacity to be an empathetic listener, an engaging and persuasive speaker, and a diplomatic communicator.
- Strong information technology and information management skills and experience in relation to marketing and public presentations.
