Transport Options

The Non-State Schools Transport Assistance Scheme (NSSTAS) provides student travel rebates for public buses. The Bus Fare Assistance Program (BFAP) and Students With Disability (SWD program are accessible by families with children attending a non-state school outside the Brisbane City Council (BCC) boundary. A number of public transport providers set-down and pick-up at the College. Parents are requested to liaise directly with the specific transport operator to register for one of these services:

Pearce Buses / Valley of the Lakes Coaches are seat belted and air conditioned.
They pick up from Toogoolawah, Esk, Fernvale morning and afternoon, as well as designated stops along the Brisbane Valley Highway.

Also, we have the late bus from school to Fernvale, Esk and Toogoolawah. Tickets are available from the College's Cashier's Office.

The College, in partnership with Fassifern Coaches operates dedicated bus routes for WestMAC students each morning and afternoon. Find out more about the WestMAC Bus Network. It is important to note that only students with a disability will be eligible under the Students With Disability (SWD) program through NSSTAS if catching the chartered Fassifern Coaches services. Bus Fare Assistance Program (BFAP) applications lodged for these chartered services will not be eligible.
